I was never into Mountain Dew which is strange cause it’s definitely a child-of-divorce soda. If there has ever been a 2-liter Mountain Dew in your refrigerator then your parents are not still together. And it ended badly.
But what I am into is fast food exclusives. Mountain Dew Baja Fresh is only available at Taco Bell. NOWHERE ELSE! Stop asking for it at Wendy’s cause they only have it at TACO BELL. Tastes the same as the regular stuff cept, in addition to your parents divorce, one of them just took you to Taco Bell so they also got laid off.
I’ve been feeling really good about myself lately so I’ve started updating Fast Food Nation again to bring me back down a couple pegs. I’m a slob!
It’s Baja Blast, not Fresh, but it’s still pretty fucking delicious. The only knock against Baja Blast I can think of is the fact that in most, if not, all Taco Bell’s Baja Blast replaced the far superior Code Red Mountain Dew, which is simultaneously the best Mountain Dew flavor ever, and best flavor of any soda ever.
